We've all been there: grappling with the epic battle of getting enough protein into our daily diets without tying ourselves up in a culinary knot.  Let me introduce you to a egg-citing solution: Steamed Egg Custard with Chili Nut Crunch! This creamy, high-protein dish is taken to the next level with a crunchy, spicy blend of chili and nuts, offering a perfect contrast in texture and a burst of flavor with every bite. Enjoy this perfect combination and boost your protein intake the delicious way!

Ingredients:

  • 100 g Eggs
  • 100 g High Protein Milk: We went with high-protein soy milk for a tofu like flavor
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • A Dash White Pepper
  • 200 g Ground Chicken Breast (You can also use ground turkey or ground pork)
  • 1 TBSP Oyster Sauce
  • 2 TBSP Chili Nut Crunch (When in doubt, add more!)
  • As needed Sliced Shiitake Mushrooms
  • As needed Sliced Scallions

Instructions:

  1. Egg Mixture: Combine eggs, high-protein milk, soy sauce, and a dash of white pepper. Mix and set aside.
  2.  Chicken Prep: Cook ground chicken with oyster sauce and a generous scoop of Chili Nut Crunch.
  3. Assembly: Place the cooked chicken in a bowl, then strain the egg custard mixture over it. Arrange sliced shiitakes on top and sprinkle with scallions.
  4. Steam: Steam for 20 minutes for smooth, creamy perfection.
  5. Garnish: Top with soy sauce and a bit more Chili Nut Crunch before serving for that extra crunch!
